US Hwa Rang Kwan is built on a heirarchy of ranks, and seniority is emphasized. With this in mind, our senior look after our juniors and the higher ranks are trained to always help the lower ranking students. With this kind of establishment, and with dedicated full time instructors, our school never leaves anyone behind.

Our school was founded by Grand master Soon C. Chang, and he is well known in the Kumdo world. He is also responsible for all dan certifications in the Eastern United States, and is responsible for all administrative works regarding kumdo. His endless efforts to promote kumdo, and to raise our school has shown success and he's oldests students now teach on his behalf.

Our masters are not only well trained in physical skills, but their minds have been well trained, and this goodness is seen in all our students. Respect, humblness, and gratitude is always emphasized in our school.
